Our Services

Effective health and safety training should be engaging, practical, and directly applicable to the work being performed. When done well, training builds confidence, improves consistency, and strengthens a worker’s ability to recognize hazards and manage risk in everyday operations. Ridge Safety Consulting delivers practical, experience-driven training designed to empower teams and support safe, consistent work practices.

Services include:

• Development of engaging training presentations and materials for in-house use

• Virtual or in-person training delivery, including hands-on and field-based sessions

• Training tailored to your operations, hazards, and workforce experience levels

• Focus on hazard recognition, risk reduction, and practical application—not just compliance

Safety audits and inspections provide an objective picture of how effectively workplace hazards are being managed and how well regulatory and industry requirements are being met. Ridge Safety Consulting delivers flexible, risk-based audit and inspection services—whether for a one-time assessment or ongoing support—designed to identify gaps, prioritize actions, and drive meaningful improvements in safety performance.

Services include:

• Comprehensive, site-wide safety audits and inspections for overall compliance and performance

• Detailed, actionable audit reports with risk-based prioritization of findings

• Recurring inspections (e.g., fire extinguishers, eyewash stations, emergency showers)

• Targeted audits of specific programs or hazards, such as powered industrial vehicles, fall protection, electrical safety, and fire and life safety

• Practical, collaborative approach focused on turning findings into measurable improvement

A well-designed Health & Safety Management System (HSMS) provides the structure needed to manage risk, drive continuous improvement, and build a strong safety culture. More than policies and procedures, an effective HSMS demonstrates leadership commitment, supports operational excellence, and creates consistency across an organization. Ridge Safety Consulting helps organizations develop, implement, and strengthen practical, scalable HSMS aligned with recognized frameworks such as ISO 45001 and OSHA’s Voluntary Protection Programs (VPP).

Services include:

• Development of HSMS from the ground up or enhancement of existing systems

• Alignment with industry standards (e.g., ISO 45001, OSHA VPP)

• Stakeholder engagement through interviews, workshops, and collaborative working sessions

• Practical system design that reflects how work is actually performed

• Support for continuous improvement, certification, and recognition goals

• Focus on creating functional, sustainable systems embedded into daily operations
